The tickets for this astounding collection of art have to be bought beforehand, therefore this walking tour is subject to the availability of said tickets so it has to be booked way in advance: but believe us when we say that this museum is one of Italy’s must-sees.
This collection of original sculptures and paintings dates back to the 17th century, with statues by Bernini, paintings by Raphael or Caravaggio and mosaics and other masterpieces from ancient Rome: they all belonged to cardinal Scipione Borghese, one of history’s most famous art collectors.
